How to measure for a wig

Getting the right wig fit is all about knowing your head measurements. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Measure Your Head Circumference: Use a flexible tape measure and wrap it around your head—starting at your forehead, going behind your ears, and meeting at the nape of your neck continue around head, back up to front starting point.
  2. Measure Front to Nape: Place the tape measure at your hairline in the middle of your forehead and pull it straight back to the nape of your neck.
  3. Measure Ear to Ear Across the Top of your head: Start at one ear, go up and across the the top of your head, and end at the other ear.

Once you have these numbers, compare them with wig size chart to find your best match. Most wigs come in standard sizes like petite, average, and large. If your measurements are between sizes, adjustable straps can help fine-tune the fit.
